Memorial Day

I absolutely love it when Justin has the day off from work.  Today was such a fun day and the kids get so excited when Daddy gswan ets a day to play with them.  This memorial day we headed to Wheeler Farm.  I love this place because it is #1 free, #2 brings back so many childhood memories, and #3 it is beautiful there.
In this first picture Justin got bit!  It was hilarious because he was feeding this swan bread and it bit him, and then he tried it again to see if the swan would bite him again......does that sound like a good idea to see if the swan will bite again?  Not to me!
Feeding the ducks is so much fun!
I had a really hard time getting Boston off of this tracter.  He wanted to really take a ride on it.
Elsie just had to wear this crown all day and here she is striking a pose.  Look at her technique with her arms:)  Straight elbows and fists facing the right direction.......maybe she will want to try out to be a cheerleader.
Boston loved all of the farm animals.

Elsie's Spring Dance Recital

Elsie did a wonderful job at her last dance recital.  We are so proud at the improvement she has made this year!  Elsie loves going to dance and really enjoys it.  A huge bonus was that dance has been free this year because I am teaching at the studio:)

Boston turned 3!

I cannot believe our Boston is 3 already!  We love this kid so much!  Boston loves cars, dinosaurs, milk, fruit, wheat pancakes, candy, his best friend and sister Elsie, swinging, and playing outside.  He gives me so much love all of the time.  I seriously get hugs and kisses all day long.  I am so grateful to be his mom!  Boston is currently in speech therapy is doing better.  Over the last month he has more desire to try to speak and communicate.  I love hearing him talk because I know it does not come as naturally and he has had to work hard to learn how to talk. Boston and Elsie play all day together and for the most part get along very well except for those mini physical battles.

On Boston's actual birthday it was on a Sunday and Mother's Day so we could not go out, but he still had a special day by celebrating at home.  We made sugar cookies and took them to his nursery class at church and he played on his new trike a lot and his new presents.

Boston's 3rd Birthday Party

While planning Boston's party I knew he really loves two things.... cars and dinosaurs.  He chose a dinosaur party!  We celebrated Boston's birthday a week before his actual birthday so our family could all attend.  Boston was super excited about his party.  Boston is not one to always be the center of attention and I love it when he gets all of the attention:)
This is the dinosaur and volcano cake that I made.

Boston loved when everyone was singing Happy Birthday to him!
He was definitely spoiled and received so many great things.  Thank you to those in our families for coming and supporting Boston.

Boston is potty trained!!!!

Two weeks before Boston's birthday I firgured it was time to do the fun and thrilling potty training thing.  I would have tried earlier, but with our trip to Hawaii I was worried he would regress while we were gone.  I have totally underestimated Boston!  After 3 days of potty training and and only having ONE accident each day for those three days he was completely done...night time and all!  The next Sunday he got sick throwing up and with the runs and he was still learning how to handle and recognize that.... so he did ok but I am not counting that because the next day he was back to going potty on the toliet.  I couldn't blame him because he was sick. But Boston has never liked to be wet and poopy even as a baby.  I would know when he would poop almost immediately even as a baby because he would cry until he was changed.  Yay for Boston and me since I have changed diapers for 4 1/2 years straight since Elsie and Boston were so close in age.  I love having no diapers!  Good job Boston!

Easter

Justin and I got back from Maui on Easter and we were so excited to see our kids and celebrate with them!  Once we were back home we had an Easter Egg Hunt and looked for Easter baskets.

My first trip to Maui

So my brother Stuart, and his wife Thi decided to take their family to Maui for Spring Break and he ending up inviting those who could make it in my family. We thought it was a once in lifetime opportunity so decided to go.....and go kidless. We figured our kids had just been on a Disney Cruise, the airline tickets are so expensive, and Justin and I could use some time without the kiddos. We so enjoyed this vacation. It was hard to come back to reality! We were super excited to see our kids. We so appreciated Chris and Heidi for taking such good care of them! They had a lot of fun in St. George with their cousins.
This is the crazy amazing house we stayed in. The neighborhood is full of high profile celebrities' homes. The actual house has been on America's Top Model and the property manager was telling us all of the celebrities that have stayed at this house.

We all were tired trying to adjust to the 4 hour time change. Here is my brother Stuart, niece Allie, and Justin snoozing away.
My gorgeous sister in law Thi, and adorable niece Elle.Isn't this water amazing?!!!!Every single day we were there we got Hawaiian Ice.... seriously amazing. I cannot even compare it to the snow cone places I have tried. With coconut ice cream at the bottom, amazing flavors that actually have the fruit puree in them, and a sweetened condensed milk and cococut flavor are just fabulous!!
We went on a family hike and the scenery was absolutely spectacular!
We went Humpback Whale Watching one of the days and it was so incredible. We saw these whales a lot and so close to our boat! This is something I have always wanted to do and it was as amazing as I thought it would be!
Here are just a few of the amazing creations we saw on our trip.

Haircuts!

I decided my kids really needed haircuts. I have been cutting their hair myself, but I figured it is nice to get a professional one every now and then. Elsie has not wanted to get a haircut for a long time because of the movie Tangled. She was worried her hair would turn ugly once it was cut. This is how long her hair was before.... and she got about 3-4 inches cut off.
This was Boston's first professional haircut. He was a little nervous with the buzzer.

The Aquarium

I happened to find great deals for a year pas at the Aquiarium and so we have been taking advantage of those. We love to just spend an hour or so here and look at all of the amazing creatures. I think my kids' faces in this picture is hilarious.

St. Patricks Day

I loved teasing my kids all day for St. Patricks Day. For some reason the leprechan kept going potty in our toliets and kept forgetting to flush the toliet. My kids got the biggest kick out of that Elise is just too smart. I cannot get things past her if I make a mistake. She and kept saying, "But mom I see the food coloring is out. Did you turn everything green?"!
