Weichers Reunion

It is not very often that the Weichers family are all together due to four of the seven kids living out of state. It takes a lot of planning to get everyone together. We all made it except for one family. We missed you Jeff and family! Two years ago my mom reserved four cabins up at the Heber Valley Girls Camp so we could all fit in beds. It was so much fun. Most of the families came with skits which was so awesome. I really thought it was not going to happen but it did and it was great to see the creativity of each family. Justin (being so clever) came up with our nature survivor theme which kind of mimicked a Sesame Street episode. We "survived" off of wild mushrooms, nectarine tree, a popcorn tree, a grape vine, and starting a fire with rubbing wood and a little help of matches:) It turned out great. The Eckel family made up a great dance routine, the Burgon family came in their NY gear and sang a song, the Stuart Weichers family made up a skit about making a house out of different things and then making a house of fasting, prayer, and so forth going along with a scripture, and the Greg Weichers family did a dance. We all sang, danced, ate a lot, went on a lake with paddle boats, volleyball, playing games like Mafia and Peter Peter Paul Paul, having smores, and last of all everyone had glow sticks and making our family flag with every one's bracelets. What awesome memories!
