This Is The Place Monument Park had a free family fun day with pony rides, face painting, bounce houses, train rides, games, and all sorts of fun activities for families. Even though it was super hot that day it was a lot of fun and Elsie sure enjoyed it. On the pony ride Elsie kept on saying giddie up horsey!
Elsie was terrified to have her face painted. I am pretty sure she thought she was getting a shot especially because of the red paint. She kept on saying owie until we painted a heart on her hand. Then she finally let me paint her face while all of her cousins were singing to her to distract her. She absolutely loved it once it was done. For the next week she would point to her cheeks and say "hearts."
